{"id":1435,"date":"2026-04-01T08:46:49","date_gmt":"2026-04-01T06:46:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.talentspotter.ro\/?post_type=jobs&#038;p=1435"},"modified":"2026-04-01T08:46:53","modified_gmt":"2026-04-01T06:46:53","slug":"cloud-security-operations-engineer-azure","status":"publish","type":"jobs","link":"https:\/\/www.talentspotter.ro\/ro\/job-finder\/cloud-security-operations-engineer-azure\/","title":{"rendered":"Cloud Security Operations Engineer (Azure)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We are looking, on behalf of our client, for a Cloud Security Operations Engineer who will play a key role in ensuring the security, reliability, and resilience of a cloud-based infrastructure.<br>This position works closely with the CTO and involves full ownership of the Microsoft Azure environment, in a highly regulated setting with strict security and compliance requirements specific to a licensed payment institution.<br>The role focuses on building a security-by-design architecture, driving automation across operations, and proactively identifying risks and vulnerabilities before they impact the business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Role details<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Employment type: permanent <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work model: <strong>hybrid \u2013 2 days\/week from the office<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Location: Bucharest \u2013 Pipera area<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Onboarding period: 4\u20135 days\/week on-site during the first 3 weeks<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Budget: 14,000 \u2013 16,000 RON net\/month<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Manage, secure, and continuously optimize the Microsoft Azure environment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Operate and maintain core Azure services such as AKS, App Services, Azure SQL, Service Bus, and Key Vault<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implement and manage security solutions including Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM), and WAF<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Define and enforce Identity &amp; Access Management policies, including MFA and Privileged Identity Management (PIM)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Integrate security controls, automated testing, and scanning into CI\/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps \/ GitHub Actions)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support compliance and audit readiness by maintaining technical documentation and coordinating vulnerability assessments and remediation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Design and support disaster recovery and business continuity mechanisms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build and maintain real-time monitoring dashboards and handle incident response activities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proactively identify security gaps, vulnerabilities, and potential system bottlenecks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Hands-on experience (ideally minimum 7+ years) with Microsoft Azure \u2013 essential<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong background in cloud security operations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solid understanding of network security, encryption standards, and threat modeling<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hands-on experience with:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender for Cloud<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>WAF, disaster recovery, and SOC-related operations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identity &amp; Access Management \/ Privileged Access Management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scripting skills (PowerShell and\/or Bash)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Certifications such as AZ-104 and AZ-500 are a strong plus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ideal profile<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Proactive, prevention-oriented mindset<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to take ownership of cloud security end-to-end<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience working in regulated environments is a plus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If this sounds relevant, feel free to reach out for more details or share your CV<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","company":[],"class_list":["post-1435","jobs","type-jobs","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.talentspotter.ro\/ro\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/jobs\/1435","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.talentspotter.ro\/ro\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/jobs"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.talentspotter.ro\/ro\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/jobs"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.talentspotter.ro\/ro\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=1435"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"company","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.talentspotter.ro\/ro\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/company?post=1435"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
