We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join an experienced international team building a next-generation AI platform.

The role is primarily focused on test automation, backend services and API testing, with additional involvement in performance testing. You will contribute to the quality, reliability and scalability of the platform, working closely with software engineers, architects and product teams throughout the development lifecycle.

What you will be working on

You will design, develop and maintain automated test suites for backend services and APIs, validate business logic and service integrations, and execute functional, integration, regression and end-to-end testing.

You will also contribute to performance testing activities using JMeter, measuring system behaviour through metrics such as throughput, uptime, response time and requests per minute. Deep specialization in performance testing is not required, but you should be comfortable interpreting results, identifying bottlenecks and collaborating with engineering teams to resolve them.

The role also involves integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and contributing to quality assurance processes throughout the software development lifecycle.

What we are looking for

• At least 8 years of experience in QA Automation
• Strong experience with backend and API testing
• Hands-on experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices
• Experience testing REST APIs, business logic and service integrations
• Experience with functional, integration, regression and end-to-end testing
• Exposure to performance testing using JMeter
• Understanding of performance metrics such as throughput, uptime, response time and RPM
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have

• Experience testing cloud-native applications
• Exposure to AI-powered platforms or distributed systems
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

The team

You will join a senior technical team consisting of an Architect, a Principal Engineer, two Senior Software Engineers and a Software Engineer.
